The topics covered were very comprehensive, giving both the big and the vertical picture. And damn, esp. how you stayed focused.
And because the AI is "seismic" and civilization changing, Hao's work is strategic to humanity; and if the host could interview more of the non-Big Tech hammer strategy devs and projects to show what is going on in the outer edges. Since the useless eating deplorables are short of the dense network at the apex of teh pyramid, we need to work with wider nets.
Hao needs to do another AI book on the bottom-up, open-crowd 'source' counter to the former 'woah is us hysteria' of Big Tech (which was all it was in 2023) and their current 'hammer we are' approach to 'glom' all the resources. At 1:22:00, Hao hits it very nuanced – the 'elitism' that is the big thumb on the scale, which is why nothing adds up.
