I'm a little concerned about the lawsuits going on bc they're being headed by large corps (ie disney, adobe) and I've seen some discussion that they're using this as an opportunity to expand their copyright in ways that would encroach more in independent artists. (Ex the wording they are using for AI could also apply to fan artists) If the lawsuits tank the ai industry, great, earned consequences. As long as indie artists aren't getting caught in the crossfire. Mega corps are going to try to be exploitative where ever they fall on the ai discussion.
Also hell yeah to the stop killer robots initiative. And an org called Real Good AI popped up recently, do we think that could also be good for the direction of how we discuss ai?
