The expectations for AI are not "huge revenues." AI experts believe that the first company or nation to achieve self-developing, self-improving AI will win _everything,_ as no one will be able to catch up with the rapid exponential gains after that point. This in turn will provide unmatched research and development capabilities, and unmatched economic output for them - at least this is what they believe.
