96% of deepfakes are pornographic? I'm pretty sure 96% of _everything_ on the internet is pornographic. I sympathize with the famous people who're gonna have this done to them first, but if it's not used commercially there's not much that can be done, as far as I can tell. Eventually, in the future, deepfakes will be so easy that literally anyone will be able to do em. It'll be drag-and-drop simple. Then anyone with enough video data online (read: everyone) will be susceptible. At that point it'll just be a weird thing some people like to do in private to get their rocks off. Again, as long as enough is done to protect us from _commercial_ misuse of our likenesses, there's not much that we can do to stop this technology; it's inevitable - same as any other new technology has been.
