Oof this is why I'm actually probably going to either quit art or move art from the style I love (which is anime) Ai can and will replace artists. Many people don't care about the soul in art or anything, they just care that it looks like a pretty picture, and since it's alot cheaper to use this (it's like 10 dollars compared to what artists charge) it'll become old fast. It took me 4 years to reach 50 followers, while many of these Ai artists get thousands within hours. It has pushed me to deliver more complicated and better art, because the portrait of the anime girl has officially died and only thing that's interesting is the process it takes to make the art, which not alot pf artists share, but it also has me more negative then I was before, because I don't know my own skills and thus, hate my own art... Le sigh, the best thing I do to cope is to not bother with it at all, I ignore it, I haven't seen a serious Ai image and when I do, I just ignore it. And for the people who say this can be used as a tool? I have YET to see it used as one properly. When you run your art through these image generators, it makes it completely JEPEGED and compressed that looks horrible and could have been avoided if you just did it yourself, and the way people use it more like a crutch then a tool. A tool is supposed HELP you achieve a goal, a pen does this, a drawing tablet does this... Ai doesn't, it does the work for you. It sucks to be an artist, it REALLY sucks...
