INCORRECT... While I agree with the simulation you've proposed on artificial intelligence you have forgotten stage 5.
This is when companies that have greatly utilized AI have NO customers to sell their products to... because of the poverty created by AI.
At that point corporations have the choice of putting humans back to work so they have financial resources or paying taxes to the level to support humans so they do not have to work.
Failure to fullfill either one of these requirements will certain result in large scale national revolts.
Democracies have the greatest chance of weathering these financial crisises as even poor humans will have the right to vote and oust out representative senators and presidents who do not act in their best interest. Hopefully at the US will recover from its current level of loss of democracy before this time period is upon us.
