That person's mind set is so wrong, it's not all about talent, it's passion, love, improvement. That's what art is about. Using AI makes that person believe that they can also be as talented as artists but it's really not like that. That person only pours out their ideas, AI generated it in a second. It's not art. Because art is process, it takes time, the time of making art is what it really is about. From what I think, that person loves art but doesn't believe that they're capable of doing it so they use AI instead. That person needs to know that art is for everyone, don't think about the talent, it's all about improvement and passion. In my opinion, this is the same as music and sports. I used to envy people who can play the piano, how are they able to play so good, so smooth, so coordinated and perfect? How can my classmates be so good at basic sports like badminton and basketball? It's because they practiced, they put time into it, they have passion in that field. Same thing with art. That person may have the passion but they need to know that when you put time, your thoughts, your feelings into it, you truly connect with what you're creating and you make it on your own, that's what you call your art. It's time and process.
