This is creating unnecessary despair ...there are frightening aspects to AI but much of the world is still hand to mouth often working the land and limited electricity never mind access to a humanoid. Noone in a hospice is going to want just a robot looking after them though lots of caring jobs will be enhanced by robot assistance but not fully replaced. Even when AI has access to the whole medical literature which it already can what it churns out can be way off and needs a human to understand nuance as it off down rabbit holes. Freeing caring professions from certain tasks doesn't replace them It gives them more time to really help in different ways.. AI will have a huge impact ...like the industrial revolution did before but we are flexible and will adapt. For me the most worrying is malicious misuse.
