SOLUTION: As people in America, and eventually around the world, lose their jobs to AI, they will likely vote for Democrats who will expand social safety net programs and require robotic companies and billionaires to contribute more in taxes to support all basic needs for unemployed citizens. As that happens, many of those supported by the government will begin to rebuild their lives and create small businesses of all types, some of which may be primarily focused on services that only humans can provide, and some of which we cannot yet imagine. They will also use AI and robotics to grow those businesses. Essentially, everyone will have the chance to become an entrepreneur if they wish, once their basic needs are met (and beyond) and they have time to think creatively about new ideas and goals. It could lead to a positive future, so long as AI does not harm humanity, whether by accident, intent, or manipulation by those who wish to destroy it.
