Is AI „Art“ stealing? Yes, absolutely! But I’ve got already a problem with the word art. Art means someone created something beautiful, interesting or unique with his skills. Using AI you didn’t do this, an algorithm did it. This is not art it’s AI Images. I think the possibility to create images using AI itself isn’t all bad. It’s a fun tool for people that have no artistic skills and wants to express what they imagine or turning photos into Anime style. It’s beginning to become a problem as soon as you use it in any commercial way. That’s including posts on social media as well for the pure purpose of gathering followers and ultimately getting paid in any way. And this is the point where I have to turn myself in as well. I make music with AI tools. I know I didn’t make it, and I know it’s kind of ripping of musicians. I also uploaded some to YouTube and my like what, 30 followers? I’ll never make anything from that, I’ve not gained a single follower I think and I couldn’t care less about it anyway. I just wanted to make Musik that I like and some of them I’ve shared. I know I’m not an „Artist“ or anything like that. I just make music using AI. At least I write my lyrics myself, so I did at least something that’s mine and those I share. But I’m neither a Musician nor an Artist, NOT AT ALL. And I’m fully aware of that. Do I feel bad about it? Yeah, sometimes. But I enjoy doing it and I don’t do it to gain anything from it other than a good time. So that’s okay for me. The tools are there and they won’t go away, so why not use it?
