But one thing AI users do or AI developers do is they underestimate how important and deep "boring" jobs are that most people don't want to do and how much better they can feel if you get good and use good tools, and AI is not a good tool (or at least not as good as they make it out to be) AI "learns" and then after everything kinda falls into place and works until it doesn't it's unlike any other tool. Imagine having a screw driver that randomly doesn't work 5% (good case scenario) of the time, you can unscrew your laptop but two screws will just have to be broken out I guess and there is nothing you can do it either unscrews like normal or just fails to, this is what it's like to actually use AI in any real life application you have to have real tools as a backup and if you have good no-AI tools you find a creative uses of those tools and knows what to expect because you know how those tools work, can't really do that with AI. So back to background removal, for video they also advertise great rotoscoping but it randomly can just not work to the point where I personally doubled down on regular rotoscoping, it's not that bad if you get good at it and you find creative solutions to your rotoscoping issues. So as a tool I'll pick a complicated algorithm over AI every time.
