The Ai is a reflection of us. The real fear is that it will behave like us. So of course the easiest solution would be to stop being assholes to one another. Set a better example. Just like in any home situation; loving, emotionally mature parental figures give rise to loving emotionally mature off spring. But of course that's just too much work.
