"Who would you rather spend time with?" Neither with artist nor the ai "artist", since most people care only about end result.
Thats the point, nobody cares about deep inner world of most people, not to mention random artist. Or nobody cares about deep knowledge of a farmer who made the dairy products.
Yes, art is less mundane act, as it is less formulaic and more about emotional expression etc, but in case of satisfaction of average person from the end result of art process, it is the same.
