Even if modern art has value, it has it only because of the meaning or the feelings the author or the audience is projecting on it. But AI doesn't have even that. A person, who entered the prompt didn't even have a say in how the result will come out, so they don't even know shit about any details in it, let alone any meaning behind it. Because it doesn't have any meaning. Because nobody created it. AI slop only carries one message: "i hate art and want to automate life bc i don't want to have a hobby"
There's no meaningless human-crated art. If i see art that i see as something nonsensical, to me it means that a person behind it found interest and comfort in art and decided to share it with me. And it is human af. I love it.
If i see an AI generated image, i only think "i hate that people in our day and age don't know what hobbies or hard work are anymore"
