America should outlaw AI. Send national guardsmen to shut down all the data farms. Set triggers on the internet to shut it down should an AI run rampant.
While we're at it, outlaw crypto currency as well. It's all counterfeit and fraud.
But I don't think we will. And that will one day bite us all in the tuchus.
