Interesting how the past is used as a justification for replacing jobs.
The reality is society is ideally self sustaining. Even capitalism is based on this balance. So the idea of allowing an imbalance where ai replaces most jobs or even a high percentage is nuts.
We will likely end up with policies which protect the balance. We are seeing this already with the backlash against data centers and the politicians who back these efforts are being canned by voters.
