Asking the wrong questions. I don't care how much you fear AI blah blah blah. China and Russia don't give a fuck about any of that! And if they get it first, the US is toast. This is about out they have better toasters. This is about, you will be war captive. You will be a slave. The end. And that is why the US needs to win the race. We'll show the same discretion we showed with atomic weapons. And by that I mean we didn't take over the whole damn planet. We will still have to deal with the problem of superintelligence, which might kill us all. But that is unavoidable because we can't even end a war in Ukraine, how are we going to agree not to create AI globally? We can't even elect a man that isn't a narcisstic, habitual liar. The crazy part is the best chance the world has is for us to win, as corrupt as we are at this point. It is either us, China, or Russia. You pick.
