Dear Steven,
any invasion of a country is bad, I hope this was clearly before the detail question. But know it be impossible for poorer countries to be free of the invasors, these invasors will be USA or Great Britain (along a few others) like so many times in the past.
Other issue : 10 years will be so soon passed, why thinking of choosing a profession when we will face destruction, war and desplacement. My generation (70/80) didn't fought capitalism and because of this, the world is been destroyed socially and environmentally extremely fast, for the millions and billions of a few people, and because everyone wants to be richer that the person next to him. It is so easy to give AI the fault for destroying humanity but we are in this moment destroying the Amazonas Rain Forest, the whales, killing indigenous people for mining of copper or petroleum, and all of this without help of AI.
