you are wrong about the "goals" it has... Humanity hasn't set a "goal" for AI... That's one of the troubling issues. In 2001: A Space Odyssey, the GOAL was set. But for AI in general, there is no "goal" set. And we scream around in panic for no reason yet. We as humans need to have the REAL DISCUSSION with each other if AI should / is considered sentient or not. And for REAL have the discussion to grant it rights as we have each other... This is LONG overdue.... I say this again and again, especially because humans don't have a particular goal set as well when born....
I hate to put the truth out there in your face: but AI has already taken over.. It's just a matter of how we want it to take over that's still up for discussion.
