We're gonna finally answer the question on if living is a right or a privilege of circumstance of birth, geography, childhood, genes and environment. Time to put our collective money where our mouth is. Also, we absolutely do not need the system that we have. We have enough resources and sustainable options in order to keep things going for a while. We do not have the social infrastructure however to handle that idea. The tech is there, the resources are there. We are not. People reading this will mistakenly think that I'm talking about utopia, which is just proof of what I'm saying. Our standards are too low to assume anything good. We think AI will bring Terminator legitimately, that science and tech have made life worse and that everything is getting worse when factually speaking, it's not. We're just more aware of the crap that's been going on for thousands of years in different ways, but same shiz so it feels like it's worse, but death, destruction and violence are all actually lowest they've been in human history, even with our rise in population. Our ancestors had ignorance on their side due to lack of education and lack of information age. We do not have this. We get to see how bad things have been for a while and we're not happy about it. There are multiple options for a new system that actually acknowledges resources exist in levels enough to take care of everyone on the planet, but we're a type -1 to just edging into 0 civilization. We're too primitive and we've been conditioned to think things can't be better, that kids will always die from preventable diseases, people will suffer and that life is work, have kids then keel over. it's no wonder people feel miserable and disillusioned.
