My idea on a failsafe for ai. Program it with a specific thing it is sexually attracted to. If it m-b’s and you catch it. It’s sentient. Hear me out. Mb Is strictly self gratification there is absolutely no actual efficiency in it at all. Nothing valuable is produced. There’s no procreation there’s no contribution to society or production so no non sentient or conscious being will engage in it. If you argue dolphins chimpanzees etc they are conscious and have rights and protections. If it mb’s it’s sentient life. Lol. I’m joking but really it’s the truth in jest. No machine that doesn’t have legitimate emotions is going to do things that please itself. Bringing me to My second point. Without stupidity you aren’t consciously. Because emotions and beliefs even if false are a universal tenant of the intelligent mind. I have a genius iq and a gambling problem and I’m superstitious. I know both things are completely irrational and yet here I am. I dont mean genius 140-160 iq I mean I’m up there quite a bit. Semi eidetic memory helps. I dont care to say exactly because people tend to attack me verbally and troll etc and I also have a bad temper to a degree.
