I normally don't agree with your politics but this is indeed a good point that you're seeing blatantly ignored on both sides. My gripe is that in all societies, you're expected to work in order to make money and survive. But what happens when AI outsources millions upon millions of jobs in America alone? How are those people expected to acquire the money needed to survive? You could argue UBI but the average family would need a lot of UBI just to get by, it's not sustainable.
