Deep learning is about as useful as robots that mimic human physical movements. Copying humans is just not the most efficient way to build machines. Look at factories, they don't have robots with 2 arms and legs walking around doing manual labour, that is absurd and inefficient. They have machines build into the production line which do a specific task. Logic is no different, AI is a fad, and traditional programming is simply the most efficient way to complete tasks
