Ironically, it won't be AI or superintelligence that kills us on purpose. Our crazy quest to make it "better" will destroy the environment and us because we've used up all our resources feeding it. Water will become more scarce, power consumption and mining will accelerate global warming, and none of it will make human lives any better.....only worse. Humans will destroy humanity before AI has the chance.
