And this whole trend was brought about by....AI....woah, go figure a tool used could of made an impact on a page that specifically says they use AI....wild ideas right?
AI is a tool. People thought Lucidalens was going to get rid of artists because now people could trace real life. Then Photography came around and everyone thought there would be no more artists because it is easier to take a picture. Then Photoshop came around and everyone was saying artists were going to die out because you can just modify photos and art now.
What people hate is corporate greed. The theft of art to feed these machines, not the AI itself. The blanket statement of "AI generated" but not which AI is funny as hell. Stable Diffusion allows you to make your own offline generators using curated art from artists you personally ask. I have about 10gbs of just hand drawn uploaded art that people have allowed me to use as long as I don't share my training data.
In the end a trend was made because of passion and AI was the spark....go figure that if it didn't exist, neither would this trend.
