I typically use AI art for character portrait since it would be to expensive to hire an artist for the number of portraits i need for character profiles of my novels.
Though i also have the common sense to know a machine can never out match an artist
You know how insane not only their muscle memory is but their imagination. god, it freaking crazy
You watch artist digital or physically the way they tend to draw lines or how they can sketch masterpieces by accident
And you very quickly figure out AI was already a support tool over a replacement
