They need to just ban all screens in classes and require written work only. That and having regular tests in material that are done in class and handwritten. That's the only way to fix this. I'm so sick of stupid people saying that the kids will be behind if they don't know how to use ai or that kids using ai are somehow more savvy than their peers. They should teach how to use ai separately, but AI has absolutely nothing to do with improving your base skills of reading, writing, math, or science.
