As an artist who has been drawing literally since birth and still haven't improved enough to achieve my dream art style and still gets disappointed by my drawings, I want to SLAP some sense into Generative AI users. YOU DON'T NEED TO HAVE TALENT. *I* HAVE TALENT AND YET I'M STILL DISAPPOINTED BY ALL MY CREATIONS UNLESS I BREAK COMPLETELY. I CAN'T POUR IN COLORS INTO MY TRADITIONAL ARTWORKS, AND FOR DIGITAL ARTWORKS, IT CAN'T EVEN CONVEY THE EMOTIONS I WANT IT TO. My works may be complimented for being better than common people, but it's still NOTHING compared to actual artists. The fact my parents doesn't even approve of me being an artist made it worse. I've fallen down so low into depression that I can barely create. I've lost myself. Did I ever use AI? No. I'd rather regain and improve everything despite the disappointment I'm going through. Please. Keep practicing your own skills without AI. Don't give a fuck if other artists disapprove of your bad drawings. Don't give a fuck if common people speak of your art negatively. Study it. Disappointed or not, keep drawing. Keep making strokes of line on that paper. Keep drawing and drawing with your own hands. Whether you cry or not, keep going. Pour your actual emotions within it. Study symbolisms, flower language, whatever. Put every thought you have into your drawing.
