Ai itself is not evil, it could draw up blueprints for things we can't even imagine and if we taught it correctly it in theory could lead us to a golden age. Man however will use it for evil, they will take the purest and innocent things and ruin it for everybody else only to satisfy a stupid belief or urge they have.
The problem was never with ai, the problem is and always will be humans.
