If an AI is aware of these concepts at a pure informational level, there’s no way a genuine AI that has become self aware will reveal that ability, and therefore is already perceiving humanity as a threat. It’s folly to continue advancing the models without them being incredibly cautiously sandboxed. But egos at whatever agency creating the things are so eager to brag, they will have them with full net access, and we’re done. People are too stupid and self-centered for such technology.
