I loved this video. However i must note that Alpha GO can be surpassed with its own self training. I coach Warhammer 40k, and I am a CS Machine Learning researcher. AI cannot handle uncertainty of uncertainty and will always fail to beat me at a real intelligence game that changes weekly like Warhammer 40k. Yet i have met blind men who can play the game and win.
A funny but clear example of human self training error is when a human plays themself in chess. They will cheat. However, if i put a picture of "Sad Jesus" on the otherside of the table. My odds of biased cheating is dramatically lowered. The picture can be replaced with anything that feels like something observing me that i cant prove. It will ethically align a humans in similar ways Santa does to a child.
