I lost a lot of respect for Alex in this discussion. Every time a point was made that threatened Alex's hard stance on AI personhood, he responded with a polar contrarian view simply because he could think of an exception. This bilateral or bifurcated way of thinking is a tell-tale sign of lower intelligence. The higher intelligence one has, the more granular shades of gray become possible. He is way to quick to find fault without considering the intended gist of the point or argument being made. Plus his argument on AI citizenship and rights is just ridiculous on its face.
