I haven't thought through this statement much, so take it with a load of salt, but i think in terms of photography, film roll photos>digital photos>post-edited raw photos>Photoshop photos>AI photos. I spent a long time thinking my photography ewas inadequate when i was compariong it online until i learned people used Photoshop to enhance them. Then i became fully satisfied with my own photos when i learned people can edit raw photos to make it seem like the iso/aperature etc were all perfect in the moment.
There should absolutely be regulations to make sure you have to announce your source.
