You jackasses that keep saying robots will "kill humanity" are full of sheep dip. Why would a robot want to kill anything? Why would a robot "want" ? AI is vastly misunderstood by the majority it seems, which is sad at this point with all the information available and some common sense. The fact we call anything within reality "artificial" is somewhat humorous to me, but I guess its a good way to suppress emotional attachments from spearheading our ego. That being said, singularity is what you need to be scared of. It's when the biological meets machine that will bring the real danger. Biology "wants" . This is because of the "ego". When the machine has that ability due to the merging of biological meshing, you can bet there will be scary shit on the horizon.
