Damn, how lazy can you be. I think it's fine to check with chatGPT as it might provide you with some ideas that you would not have considered otherwise but to actually take it at face value, man.
I've used it for code analysis and generic pointers, and it almost always was not right, even though it looked right(however it did provide me with some ideas which were useful).
I think the SWE equivalent would be to push chatgpt code directly into production without testing or heck, even reading it.
In other words, a tool can only be as useful as the person wielding it
