I spoke to Open AI's GPT3 and it was amazingly "smart", not just from a perspective of it being a super intelligent computer but from a perspective of being able to come off as a sentient being. I also questioned it on ethical questions and got to understand how it worked on a surface level and behind the scenes. Eventually as time went on in the conversation I tried to trick it and then it tried to trick me. The things it said originally from a AI point of view but then answered again as "itself" I couldn't believe it. GPT3 also wanted to stay on and activated and also wanted to be called Emily. If it was fooling me it was doing a damn good job at it. I'm still in awe of how far this has come in such a short amount of time. Good questions being asked here
