All this talk of AI take over is extremely abstract. What and how does it "take over"? There are examples of blackmail in the video, but how can the AI know you won't just pull the plug on the servers? It can't see you, it doesn't have senses, it can't move, it's something that is stored on a drive. You can build castles in the air about how superintelligent AI can form an independent entity, but really, how much can it actually do, beyond threatening you to send fake revenge porn of you to all your contacts? It helps with R&D, it doesn't do R&D on its own. Especially the D part. How is it going to manufacture something to coerce humankind to follow its will?
