Granted that IF NOTHING CHANGES CURRENTLLY, A PREMATURE PUSH for EVs may make us more dependent on China (since China will use its virtual monopoly on rare-earths as a tool to limit growth in the US) UNLESS we re-start our own rare-earth mining capability and/or re-build ties to countries in Africa similar to what China did. There is a way to break the supply chain dependence, but the government needs to be smart if they do it. Unlike China, who is currently suffering from massive pollution as a result of vanity projects and the Evergrande Ponzi scheme, we also don't need to sacrifice the environment just like they did to win. For example, the US government have for a long time supported the dairy industry leading to massive stockpiles (since WW2) that many underprivileged youths grew up on them in the 80s-90s (e.g., government cheese along with gallons of milk), LOL. It would certainly be more expensive here and thus will need to give companies the incentives to do so as Biden has already done and will continue to do (see cited article above). Despite the goodwill and incentives, he received and continually will receive from the GOVERNMENT TO BUILD TESLAS IN THE US (all American and many western multinationals get incentives, hello this is America??? Lol), why are multinational western companies (already known for their reputation to just kowtow and bark like seals on any sight of dollars no matter who flashes them to their faces) still doing business in China? More specifically, WHY IS TESLA NOT ONLY STAYING BUT EXPANDING IN CHINA??? At least Apple have plans to move all their operations to India!!! This is another loophole to HANDOVER ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES TO CHINA (much less HELP THEM DEVELOP EV CARS OF HIGH QUALITY WHEN THEY STEAL THE TECHNOLOGY)!!! This is a NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT and who's to say that ELON MUSK is not already providing and leaking information about the STARLINK PROGRAM VITAL TO TAIWAN DEFENSE??? He was just there recently dancing and happily enriching himself in China! While concerns about AI is real and has been published by many authors before Musk even started voicing out his concerns, why would he advocate American and Western companies for a self-imposed moratorium when we all know that China will NOT comply to any such agreements even if they sign a piece of paper? Why? Because the WEST IS LEADING IN AI RESEARCH and ELON MUSK is a known LIAR and RIGHT-WING HACK!!!! His actions are clearly ALWAYS counter to Western interests (despite benefitting from American tax payer dollars and research supported by the US Government and policies along with him being an early investor and cheerleader for the tech). Instead of spending his assets on basic research and maybe his technology on saving the earth, he would like US researchers to spend their time and resources on the VERY UNLIKELY POSSIBILITY OF EVER COLONIZING MARS???? Or is it because he and his fellow aristocrats in China can live the rest of their lives in super-sized geodesic biodomes that the ultra-rich is fond of building these days to survive a nuclear winter together with their concubines and elites when the Earth itself cannot support human life anymore? The gravitational pull of Mars is so low that even if we had enough raw materials there to create an atmosphere, it would likely EVAPORATE INTO SPACE making the whole effort futile and ridiculous since any such effort will be more expensive than saving EARTH! Yet, he is viewed as a genius by many??? What he does is just get a bunch of experts and scientists from our best research institutions, hires them, have them explain it to him so he can understand it, reads their work, and pretend it was his original idea, when in reality he just bank rolls them with the help of the government---nothing more than a modern CEO. How is that being a “genius,” when he is nothing more than a highly privileged car salesman that happen to have billions of dollars from previous companies he took over that were not even his idea?? Clearly, this guy needs to be reigned-in and he himself or any Tesla employees by proxy (similar to this most unusual and low-level spy recently) can leak and will leak vital information and national security issues--- if his previous actions were to be of any guide. HIS ACTIONS CLEARLY SHOW THAT HIS LOYALTY IS NOT TO AMERICA'S WELL-BEING THAT MADE HIM WHO HE IS TODAY but TO CHINA!!! Where is Marco Rubio's indignation similar to that deserved by Macron? Where is Biden's administration when he said he would reign this guy in, likely high on cocaine as he advocates for its legalization? How is he allowed to do business with highly adversarial nations at odds with our own national security interests and that of the whole western alliance? Clearly he has more than erratic personality if not unstable or some undiagnosed psychiatric disorder (bipolar, mood affective disorders, narcissistic personality disorders, come to mind---but drugs need to be ruled out first and likely need a psychiatric evaluation), yet we have an obvious MOLE who has proven himself time and time again to be NATIONAL SECURITY RISK IF NOT ALREADY A THREAT??? He has broken many laws, perjured himself in court despite all the evidence, continually manipulated stock market prices to inflate his portfolio, and uses highly leveraged loans popular in the 80s, so that he can lay off massive amount of Americans and leave the rest of BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF LOANS TO TWITTER ESPECIALLY WHEN HE DECIDES TO BAIL AFTER RUNNING IT TO THE GROUND!!! The original management of Twitter itself took its sweet time before finally relenting on policing brainwashing propaganda---since they also were reluctant to lose revenue at the cost of the truth. Not only did he invite all these poisonous elements back in (which was not that of a big concern if merely from deluded Americans simply voicing out their own opinion not touted as news), he uses his position as CEO/owner to INVITE FOREIGN PROPAGANDA DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED TO NATIONAL SECURITY INTEREST AND OF THE WESTERN ALLIANCE WITHOUT ANY WARNING LABEL, yet any independent news organizations (after admitting that at least one of them is one of the "least biased sources" as "government propaganda or "state-affiliated) that wrote anything negative facts about him are suddenly slapped with a label or at the very least, aspersions to well-known and respected news organizations as "propaganda"???
