...and why do AI prompters want to pretend to be skilled artists? Because there's no value in AI prompting. Once you take all the skill, creativity and effort out of an activity you destroy the value of it. AI proponents are truly delusional if they think prompt engineering will ever be highly valued - that shits always going to be viewed as 'my child could do that' - companies are never going to be employing professional prompters, that's just pure fantasy. Know that the whole commercial point of AI is to devalue human effort, make it easy, make it simple and therefore make it valueless and cheap - 'do more with less'. The trade off is quality and the deepening slide into the enshittification of everything but corpos are all about that 'good enough for the cost, maximise our shareholder profits' mentality.
