I think I actually agree with the analogy of having the robot lift the weights for you. Coming from someone who works in education, you are assuming a level of critical literacy that students now simply do not have, because of a variety of reasons that include AI. Assuming that students will be able to take an idea and run with it really gives too much credit to the ability of students to do that mental work. And I’ve seen students that ARE capable of that work still outsourcing the majority of it to AI out of laziness. They really are having the robots lift the weights.
