The old arts of illustration is now made archaic. This has happened time and time again in the industrial revolution, it will only improve and the old methods are stuck in time and ineffectiveness. All 'art' is derivative, alot of people who argue that it's stealing do not understanding algorithm implementation. All illustrators rip off other illustrators who eventually rip off the planet before us. There is no conceivably valid argument against this.
