I'm a fast working software dev. Been working at the same company for 10 years. Company is now forcing AI on all of us. For me, it's a hindrance. I'm not waiting 5 minutes for a bot to do a simple task in a single file when I can write the code in less than 20 seconds. It's madness. I'll be fixing to leave before long if this nonsense continues. AI might be good for generating some basic boilerplate code, or summarizing a report or something, but for modifying an existing code base? Forget it.
