Coming to think of it, me thinks the AI species are going to put all humans inside a pod -in deep sleep/ virtual reality (this way they think they are protecting us -from killing each other) .. yes just like the matrix - and yes there will be AI Agents like Mr.Smith to deal with the rebels! - but berfore all this .. humans are going to enjoy life for a short time - cure to cancer, cure to aging, etc etc -then our never ending greed is going to bring our Doom.
