Teacher speaking: I find using AI in my teaching to be mediocre. It screws up my thinking process and the output doesn't suit my impromptu style of teaching. Don't get me wrong however, I do sometimes use ai to check for errors in my own written texts or to spit out tons of forms I may base my lesson on.
My students just put my exercises into ai and copy pasta without thinking nor checking. They also use ai as an alternative to a search engine (and funnily enough Chat didn't even give the correct answer lol).
I find the suggestion made halfway through the video of ai being a mentor to be suitable. However, teenagers should avoid ai for school at all costs, most students choose the path of least resistance, aka use ai for everything.
