If you work as an artist in industry (film, games etc.), you might be better of to learn to incorporate AI tools to your workflow. That doesn't mean that you have to abandon your art making process completely, but if you don't do this you might lose your job to someone who does incorporate AI in their workflow and does the same job much faster. Now, I don't like AI art and I give all support to creators who make art completely by themselves, but that might be just sad reality for going forward. I'm a software developer myself and I did like my job when I started 25+ years ago, but nowadays I'm not having fun time at my work. I've been thinking about making a game on my free time and I enjoy coding with C# in Unity, because I'm creating things that I'm interested. I've also studied and practiced lots of painting/drawing with both digital and different traditional mediums on my spare time and I've played guitar for almost 30 years and bass, piano and drums a little less. Those are nice balance for my everyday boring work. Frankly I have too many interests, so I have to rotate them a bit. I'm playing Disco Elysium right now by the way(which you mentioned in the video) and I love the art style of that game. This turned a bit of rambling without clear point other than you may just need to accept that AI might be getting into art industry and if you can get a job that requires it as a part of a workflow, you just might better to just take the opportunity or someone else will. Or you could try to go for indie game development where the big bosses aren't trying to squeeze out every cent from production time and the co-workers are more likely more passionate. I have all the sympathy for the artists, both visual and musical. Also as a developer, AI also coming in my field, but I'm not worried about my job since we have and old product that customers like and it requires to be familiar with some inhouse tools that AI can't understand and other knowledge besides just coding so I feel pretty safe.
