Plumbers will not even be needed in the future, im a 3d printer/designer and have my head buried in that area deeply. They will just re design buildings so it can all be worked on with less articulate robots like the droids seen in star wars, you will not need humanoid androids thus making them smaller, cheaper to build and less prone to malfunction, same for all utilities so electricians, builders, mechanics, labourers, cleaners and many more will all be automated. Even my industries 3D printing, design, printing are nearly all semi automated already, the only real jobs left will be medical because humans wont want robots working on them... for a while! Right now googles deepmind has created new materials, literally crystals which nearly all materials are made from like concrete, stone etc etc. and not just 1 or 2 it theorised 2.2 million new crystals of which 380,000 are stable and could be lab made, what would have taken humanity decades of brain power by multiple humans and a ridicoulous amount of money Ai did it a fraction of the time. from an article...
