People don't understand that the danger of AI isn't going to stop at artists, and I hate hearing the "Well, it will create new jobs." The problem with that is if you do a simple thought experiment, there is no job on the planet that can't be replaced with AI. Several companies are building advanced androids, so even physical labor will be completely replaced. But then what? Do we hope the rich will pay us all to simply exist? What happens to humanity that isn't at the very top of society?
I don't mean to black pill too hard, but I think the future for humans is pretty scary.
