Well said. I'm an artist as a hobby, but I make my living as an author, and it's incredibly disheartening to see so many authors jumping on the AI bandwagon, as if OUR art isn't in danger of being taken over by AI. People have even tried to use AI art for book covers, which is awful on so many levels, not the least of which is that it's going to put cover artists out of business while using their own art without their permission.
Ugh. What a nightmare. I've been speaking out about it on social media, but it's definitely frustrating to try to get through to people who genuinely don't see the difference between AI and an artist copying a master to learn their style. I've shared your video; hopefully it'll get the message across.
