I think this is good because no kid wants or can really handle and absorb 7-8hrs of class and then on top of that you are suppose to get 4hrs of homework. I think the social meeting, focused academics, and then skills/sports is awesome. If I could have had a school where it was 30-60minutes of socializing and then 4hrs of focused academics and then skills/sports after lunch it would have been amazing.
My school tried a new schedule once but it was even worse, they did each subject every other day and just doubled the length of the class and homework so now you have to sit through 1.5hr classes which was way too long for kids.
