I get the appeal of making these robots and having them have such a high intelligent it's just... We're stepping into unknown territory and having change without knowing how this will all turn out. Change is already scary and it DEFINITELY doesn't help that society has all these preconceived notions on AI's like this and the whole "robots will take over" thing. If it wasn't for that maybe more people would be more open to this. I mean the idea of having robots that can interact and behave like real people is pretty cool. But it's just scary thinking something might go wrong.
